Weekly Update Jan.16-20

“The difference between a successful person and others is not a lack of strength,
not a lack of knowledge, but rather a lack in will.” ~ Vince Lombardi

We are off to a great start for the new year! Quarter 3 started on Jan.9th; please discuss the "3P's" with your child:  positive, prepared, polite.  Having a positive attitude, being prepared with school supplies (pencils, eraser, red pencil/pen, colored pencils or markers, glue sticks and scissors for projects) and using good manners will take your child far in life!  Please encourage your child to work on developing good daily habits. Students should keep all of their supplies in their pencil pouch, which is in their classroom binder.  Make sure daily math homework assignments are completed and turned in on time. If students are consistently not turning in their work, then it adds up and it is hard to catch up on Fridays. Please continue checking and signing your child's planner daily and ask them what they learned in school.  Please go on Aspire together each weekend, so that you can review your child's grades.

Please remember to include Prodigy in your child's daily routine. Thank you for supporting what your child is learning in the classroom. Let's continue to work together to make this the best year ever!  Donations are always needed and appreciated. At this time, we need boxes of tissues, wipes, and paper towels, colored pencils, markers, crayons, and glue sticks in our classroom. We do projects often and those supplies run out fast. Thank you so much for your generosity and support of your child's education. Thank you to those who have made donations to our classroom. We really appreciate your generosity!
