Math
This week, we will work on multiplying multi-digits whole numbers and decimal numbers. We will practice math word problem strategies. Please continue to practice multipication facts with your child at home. You can check out 5th grade Math Resources, or go to: https://quizlet.com/_2lbmqa

This week, Prodigy will write a decimal from a number line, place decimal point on number line, and multiplication patterns of multiples of 10.  We use Prodigy to practice math skills and concepts that we learned in math class. Please include 20 minutes Prodigy Math games in your child's daily math homework routine.

Science
This week, we will learn what matter is made of and how the states of matter happen. Donations are graciously accepted for our science experiments. If interested in donating supplies, we need the following items for our science experiment: 8 bottles of Elmer's glue, color plastic cups, and food coloring. (Primary colors: red, green, blue, orange, yellow, purple).

This week's science vocabulary words: (Matter LINCs Week#1)

Please practice 18 Matter vocabulary words daily with your child. Students really enjoy playing quizlet in class.  Please allow your child to practice on quizlet if Internet is available at home. Studying or practicing science vocabulary words should be included in your child's daily Science homework routine.
