Quarter 4 begins this Monday, so let today be a new beginning.  It is never too late to practice a good habit.  Be proactive and put first thing first! Please check Aspire Gradebook weekly, and as regularly as possible with your child, to teach them to be responsible and take ownership of their learning.

Math

We are starting the Geometry and Measurement Unit. We have discussed polygons and non-polygon concepts and reviewed basic Geometry vocabulary words. Below is an example of LINES vocabulary words project that we did in class last week.

This week, we will discuss quadrilateral property and classify 2-dimensional shapes into categorizes based on their properties in Math class.

We use Prodigy to practice Math skills and concepts that we learned in class. Please include Prodigy in your child's daily Math homework routine for 20 minutes. Every student has an account and the password is Eagles. For Prodigy, Go to: https://www.prodigygame.com/

Science

We are on week #4 for Heredity unit. This week we will learn about animals and adaptations, and review heredity concepts and vocabulary.
